After reaching a nearly full understanding of the concept that we want to trial and create a prototype for (from now on will be called 'MVP' - Minimal Viable Product), which is a smart Karaoke single/co-op game, we focused our efforts this past week towards understanding in what way we should simulate the scenario and the game.

A big part of the challenge is managing to indeed simulate the situation and the game as if we have a complete and finished product, while still having an authentic experiment without distracting the subjects (the parent and the kid/s).

In order to decide which way we should take, some of us questioned parents to get an even better grasp of the scenario in the car; what type of games they play these days in the car, and if they do use music as a tool for gaming in the car – what songs do they sing? Are the parents participating in the singing as well?

We also decided to determine specific criterions/metrics for us to check and test while viewing the experiments, such as: does the kid seem to be enjoying the product? For how long does he play the game without stopping? Is the parent participating as well? Etc.
