In the beginning of the week we consulted with our mentors and we understood that the buttons we used until now, are not encourage the singing and not very clear about their essence.

In preparation for the User-testing we decided to keep these buttons and to test them about the intuitive thoughts and feelings it produces. This way we have reached some conclusions about additional things and gestures for the product:

- Volume buttons

- Discs for music changing

- The sound effects should be: High-pitch/ Slow/ Fast

The process of user testing at this point of the product demand secretly operation of 3 team members that was difficult to arrange. In addition, because its technology aspect complicates this product, it was hard to synchronize the fictitious playing at the product with the technology operation.

During the User-testing we noticed that the product encourage interaction between the players. The sound effects produce eye contact and laughing. The singing produces sharing and listening to each other, and even satisfaction about having my turn.

After the child played the product, we noticed also the interest of the child about talking with his parent and displaying to him programs he likes.

The participation at this product creates unique experience of sharable laughing and singing, which encourage the humor between the parent and the child, and the feeling that they can understand each other.

Technology-wise, we have a demo ready , which is a product with 3 buttons- one records sounds from a microphone for a pre-defined amount of time, another btton plays the recording, and the third button can add different ‘ding’ effects while the recording is playing. We hope to have better control over sound editing and better Bluetooth capabilities by the next demo.
