This week we decided after the meetings with the mentors to remove the play button, we realized that right now we should focus on one button. The remaining button is the "sing" button which activates the game. The synary now is that the user presses the sing button for 30 seconds and then the user starts editing by moving the disk to 30 seconds and at the end of the edited song plays automatically.

On Wednesday we met Ani and worked on the mechanics of the disc and the size of the prototype. Ani printed the disk hinges and the disc itself from cardboard, so we checked whether the movement of the hinges with the disc was correct.

In the usability tests, the childrens are

alarmed by the "Slow Mooshen" when they edit the song. Differences were found between ages, when 3-year-olds did not know many words of songs compared to 5-year-olds who knew and sang songs continuously. The children found it difficult to choose the song they wanted to sing. The game encouraged parent-child interaction before the game and during the game, the child consulted with the parent which song to sing and during the game sang with the parent and when he did not know the words mimicked the parent. The child's reaction to the twisted song - the child was frightened by the "Slow Mooshen" effect and took time to realize that he and the parent were in the distorted recording. But as soon as he understood he enjoyed turning the disc and hearing the distorted song. When the children were asked to edit, they quickly realized that the disc should rotate and it seems that they enjoy this action.
